We are the first practice in London (if not the UK) to have ‘hands-free sensored’ sliding door entry to our treatment rooms to ensure the highest standards of cross infection are adhered to. Our public washroom has a touch free toilet flush and washbasin tap. With our central sterilization room, we are not only adhering to but exceeding current best practice guidelines. We will be only too happy to demonstrate this.

SENSU vs Going Abroad?

  1. As the uk dental regulator (general dental council), all dental professionals must be
registered with us to work in the uk. We set the standards they must adhere to. We
can’t guarantee another organisation like us exists in other countries,
    ” GDC
    http://www.gdc-uk.org
  2. What will be the overall cost? The real cost may not the price displayed.
  3. Does the country you will be treated in, have a professional regulatory body to govern
    standards?
  4. Are the qualifications of their dental professionals genuine? read www.healthregulation.org
  5. Who can you complain to when your treatment goes wrong?
  6. How can you be sure of their treatment success rate?

  1. Is there any guarantee on the treatment?
  2. Will you be able to fly back to see the same dentist after the treatment?
  3. Aftercare (and remedial work) may be needed. Will you get enough time off your
job? Have you considered the cost of return flights, hotels, other travel expenses and
    your time?
  4. If you have had treatment abroad and your aftercare is in the UK then you are not
being seen by the same dentist.

HISTORY OF WIMPOLE STREET

“Did you know that Paul McCartney lived in Wimpole Street?”
Wimpole Street runs parallel to Marylebone High Street and is known for dentistry. Wimpole Street like Harley Street attracts attracts those looking for high quality dentistry, cosmetic surgery and medically related services.

Most of Wimpole Street, Upper Wimpole Street and Devonshire Place was built up by 1793.

In the mid-eighteenth century the hub of medical science and practice was in the City. The growth of affluent residential housing northwards from Mayfair and westwards from Bloomsbury combined with its proximity to the important shops on Regent Bond and Oxford Street naturally created a newly fashionable area around Cavendish Square.

The most famous resident in Wimpole Street was the poet Elizabeth Barrett, who lived at 50 Wimpole Street with her family from 1838 until 1846 when she eloped with Robert Browning.

Wimpole Street has been home to a few modern day celebrities, such as Paul McCartney who lived at 57 Wimpole Street in 1964-1966 during his relationship with Jane Asher.
